January 2022
Hi friend,
We wanted to wish you a very happy holiday and a joyful, healthy New Year 2022. This New Year is especially exciting as we are finalizing our SEC offering for investment with H2FE, Inc.
We will share more about that in our next newsletter.
We've all been living in a pandemic for a year and a half now. No one's life has gone untouched. However, for many people this has been a period of reflection, change, and growth.
You may recall that in our last newsletter we put out an RSVP for pre-investment interview subjects. We have to thank the over 20 people who shared their time and experiences. Your generosity in sharing your reflections and experience have impacted us more than we can express.
We would also like to thank Aunt Roxie for the kind gift of caffeine she sent to our office.

Well, friends, it’s been a compelling month in the Virginia Cannabis arena.
We installed a new governor who has a history of disparaging cannabis users.
He spent his first week dismantling the DEI programs. First target was diversity in education, the second was the Cannabis Board. He changed the head of the program to someone from the ultra-conservative Heritage Foundation. The program name also changed from “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” (the Federal standard) to an Opportunity and Inclusion Board.
He committed to zero tax funds to ensure participation by those disproportionately affected by the War on Drugs. He’d also like to see cannabis possession become a punishable offense again. Cause, you know, only criminals will do that.
And, for those keeping track at home, criminals cluster in certain communities, so aggressive policing will target those communities.

Hi Family & Friends
It's been an interesting month and change since we last wrote. We waited weeks for the vote on the commercial cannabis rules from the Virginia state legislatures, hoping to have concrete news worth sharing.
We waited, and waited, and waited. Until the entire session closed with no commercial legalization finalized bill.
In project management, this is what you call your External Unknown Event. In practical terms, It means there isn't going to be a legal commercial market in Virginia, there are no rules, or paths to having a legal commercial cannabis business.
